Facebook Is Now Stifling Posts That Encourage "Engagement Bait"

Facebook is updating their News Feed algorithm to penalize posts that "encourage users to like, comment or tag people in the comments section in order to gain wider visibility of their content." Starting in two weeks, users who post this "spammier content" will notice a reduction in their total reach. While the goal is to clean up News Feeds, marketers and creators will now have to rethink a few of their key engagement tactics.
